Flora levitates in desire

Sculpture, Installation

2019

"Flora levitates in desire " speculates on the diversity and fragility of sexual-affective ties in today's society. By manipulating Anthurium flowers and inflated condoms in different gaseous states, I construct botanical metaphors about sexuality.

The idea of the condom as a preservative, but also understood as a disposable object for the consumption of fleeting desire, opens a dialectical gap where different dual concepts are opposed, integrated and nourished, questioning the forms and possibilities that love can adopt in our life. Global world.
